Presenting Lorelai Gilmore. I am not a person who wears or likes a strapless top, but I wanted to try to find some of the girls' fancy styles. I opted for a cocktail top instead of dress, cause this mama has nowhere fancy to go.
I scoured the web for a pretty strapless cocktail top but didn't find anything similar to LG's buckles on the dress bodice. That style so suits her personality in the early GG years, but I settled on something much more simple. The top hem of the top I found is a nod to the leather hem of LG's. I wasn't looking for a black stretchy tube top and I found a lot of those, ew. I felt suprisingly confident and comfortable in this look.
