The Gilmore Girls Project S2

 This look is from episode 4 "Road trip to Harvard." Rory wears a dress to friday night dinner that has a veggie print. At first glance I thought it was a floral print, but it definitely has carrots on it. I came across this dress and it made me think of the veggie dress. So, here it is, a lovely RG look.

It's a lovely wrap dress and it makes me happy. I feel grown up and free at the same time. Also, it was $13 from Thredup. It's definitely one of my top 3 favorite pieces of clothing. I just love it!

The Gilmore Girls Project S2

 Casual Rory outfits are not as easy as they sound. Each casual, seemingly simple top that Rory wears has some sort of deatil that is actually high end. This long sleeve green top doesn't look high end, and I haven't looked to see what brand it actually is. I happened to have this top from college! Haha. It has the gold graphic and everything. Y'all, I am the gilmore girls! Lol

This is episode 3. They  are tasting wedding cakes at Weston's, even though Sookie is making the cake, of course.

I couldn't be bothered to search for graphic tees. That search is usually futile when my budget is tiny. I did put together a collage of Rory's simple long sleeve tops throughout the season. She is styled in a lot of (boring) layered cardigan looks and only a couple of exciting sweaters. 

I have some exciting dresses coming up!

The Gilmore Girls Project S2

Presenting Lorelai Gilmore. I am not a person who wears or likes a strapless top, but I wanted to try to find some of the girls' fancy styles. I opted for a cocktail top instead of dress, cause this mama has nowhere fancy to go. 

I scoured the web for a pretty strapless cocktail top but didn't find anything similar to LG's buckles on the dress bodice. That style so suits her personality in the early GG years, but I settled on something much more simple. The top hem of the top I found is a nod to the leather hem of LG's. I wasn't looking for a black stretchy tube top and I found a lot of those, ew. I felt suprisingly confident and comfortable in this look.

Little Bruds Gets A Haircut

We decided to get Ryson’s hair cut last weekend. His curls were just out of control, but I loved them so much. He is still my sweet baby just a little more put together and just as handsome. I love this boy.

This is such a great top! I love it so much. It's cute but doesn't make me feel too young. It can be dressed up or down. It's a simple silhouette with an interesting print and button detail on the

It’s not the exact same style as what she is wearing but it works.

These were the closest styles I could fine. And I’ll be honest, I didn’t search that hard!
